The changes are being rolled out in a “beta” format where many users can switch in and out of the new look, while others seemed to be locked into the beta or not given the option at all.
Flickr have also added a new “embed” option to share photos on blogs etc. – once again, not everyone is happy. The new embed shows photo titles and the Flickr logo when hovered over, as well as navigation arrows. If your using the “beta” screen, this is the only option when it comes to copying code, while those on the old screen still have the old HTML code to use.
If you’re one of the many unhappy Flickr users, make sure you let them know what you think on their feedback page. Do it now before the Yahoo! Gods force a new Flickr experience on everyone, that no one likes…
