Do Not Call Register
Are you sick of those annoying calls, usually just as you’re sitting down to dinner, from companies trying to sell something? Australians can add their phone numbers to the Do Not Call register. Once your numbers are listed on the register, telemarketers and fax marketers must not contact you. If they do call, they can face a hefty fine from the Australian Communications and Media Authority on behalf of the Australian Government.
