iPhone Travel apps and tips

The Apple iPhone is probably the truest definition of the "smart phone", with wide spread acceptance from people of all walks of life (not just the techies and fanboys).  Few people, however, would use or even know about all the features of this Apple success story, and with thousands and thousands of apps available from iTunes, it's hard to imagine the many different uses the phone can be put to.

If you're traveling, there's a lot the iPhone can do to make your movements easier, and I don't just mean the included Google Maps application.

As a post-script to this web-link, I picked up a tip from this article (number 5 in the top 10) that can be useful in all sorts of ways; by holding the power button and pressing the home key you can capture a screen shot of your iPhone.
