iPad - not that Flash

Well the Apple iPad has finally been released in Australia.  When it was first announced, I thought the iPad was going to be a great internet gadget.  The one thing that's stopping me from buying an iPod (apart from having better things to do with $629) is Apple's refusal to support Flash.  I imagine close to half of all web-sites use some sort of Flash content, so browsing on an iPad could become very frustrating.

It looks like Apple is feeling the heat on their no-Flash policy, because head-huncho Steve Jobs has released a fairly long statement defending the company's stance.
